I know it’s a tad bit late, but Happy Mother’s Day! And not just to my mom, but to my soon-to-be mother-in-law, grandmother, and two great-grandmothers.
But being a mother is so much more than biology. I consider myself a mother…to my dogs and cat…and Taylor. Mothering is defined as ‘looking after kindly and protectively’. In short, this goes out to any person, male or female, who has ‘mothered’, who has loved and taken care of, been affectionate to. So, Happy Mother’s Day, to everyone.
